Kazakhstan is actively working towards improving global partnerships for development. They collaborate at both the international level and the private sector and civil society level. Kazakhstan is involve in many regional and international organisations. They are working to continue improving relationships in trade, investments, finance, IT, and communications. As of now, they are focusing on working to improve developmental issues such as inequality and marginalisation, local level development, and the employment of youth and women. Kazakhstan has recently partnered with Russia for a joint missile defense system, which has been another step in increasing regional partnerships over national security (rt.om). However, Kazakhstan has taken a step back in terms of global partnerships regarding new technology by suing Facebook, Google, and Twitter (rt.com).
