Kazakhstan has not yet achieved this goal. Maternal health indicators are low and the maternal mortality ratio is much higher than that in the WHO European Region. In order for Kazakhstan to achieve this goal they would have to reduce the maternal mortality ratio by a substancial amount. While the maternal mortality ratio is being reduced, it has not been reduced enough to accomplish this goal.
